This month I had the opportunity to catch up with local delights Trial Kennedy and The Basics for an interview and photo shoot. My dear friend Caz is starting a great little mag called Lights and Music in Tasmania, and she has been kind enough to give me some work to do here in Melbourne! There will be more coming up soon with some very exciting artists, but for now head to my promo gallery!

My photos of Juliette and the Licks are going to be used for promotional posters in Europe! I was contacted by Juliette Lewis’ manager after taking a few shots from the crowd at the Prince Bandroom.

Armed with an incredible kit (including a Nikon D300 and a delicious Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8, for the nerds out there) thanks to my good friend Scott, I was sent to the V Festival at Melbourne Showgrounds to shoot for 2threads. Boasting a stellar line up including Smashing Pumpkins and Queens of the Stone Age, it was a hectic day of running between stages with an exceptionally heavy camera bag – I LOVED IT. Life was put on hold this month for my wedding!

Back in November last year, I entered this photo into a competition run by jmag to cover the 2007/2008 Falls Festival in Marion Bay, Tasmania. In December, I got the call to say I’d won. Talk about an adventure, I had the time of my life shooting and living the VIP life. A photo blog about the trip can be seen on myspace. A few of my photos will be featured in next month's issue of jmag, which will be my first publication.
